So for Susie’s birth, I thought I’d setup a twitter account for my family to be able to follow the progress of the delivery. Twitter was still very new to me, so wasn’t sure exactly what I was doing, but here it a log of our time at the hospital.
October 24, 2007 12:43 – I’m sitting at work while traci is at home.
October 24, 2007 17:08 – ok, I lied. We just got checked at the hospital. 3cm, but they.may keep us anyways. Will know more in 20 mins.
October 24, 2007 21:57 – Well we’re up to 5cm. things should start happening a little more rapidly.
October 25, 2007 00:03 – up to 7 cm.
October 25, 2007 00:41 – Well, after 17 hours of contractions, we’ve decided to go with an epidural. Traci’s been awesome!
October 25, 2007 07:00 – Well after receiving the epidural, Traci and I slept for about 4 hours. We’re now at 9cm and the water has been broken.
October 25, 2007 09:39 – Traci is doing great. We’re starting pitocin now to try and help Susie appear.
October 25, 2007 11:11 – We’re at 9-10cm. Gonna wait to push yet. Hoping Susie will move down a bit more, then we’ll begin pushing.
October 25, 2007 12:09 – getting ready to start pushing. It’s show time.
October 25, 2007 15:50 – susan elizabeth. 8lbs. 3oz.
October 27, 2007 12:27 – We’re heading home.
